Catering Server

Cloud Nine Catering runs everything from twelve-guest private dinners to 500-guest galas, and no two events look alike. We're building our bench of Catering Servers for the season across Los Angeles.

Shifts are offered week to week, so you choose what you take. Most of our servers work two to four events a week.

What you'll do

• Set rooms to the floor plan: linen, covers, glassware, and place settings.
• Serve plated dinners and pass canapés at weddings, galas, and corporate events.
• Work as one team with the kitchen and the event lead through a tight timeline.
• Break down and pack out. The night isn't over until the truck is loaded.

What we're looking for

• Some hospitality experience is welcome, but attitude matters more; we train the rest.
• Weekend and evening availability, which is when events happen.
• Reliable transport to venues across the LA area.
• Comfort on your feet for a six to ten hour event.

What we offer

• $19 to $28 an hour depending on experience and event type.
• Pick your own shifts, published two weeks ahead.
• Uniform provided, and a meal at every event.
• Higher rates for lead-server shifts once you're trained up.
